Michigan | This is 100 false, in 2019 our home farm had no chance to plant ever not even a 1 hour window. Although we decided to gamble and didn’t take pp that year we literally mudded in edibles July 5 then the water shut off and they froze off in October. There is nothing wrong with taking pp, that’s why we buy the insurance. Northern climate is a different world than you are used to. Also pp is not usually profitable it just keeps you near but usually under break even so no bto is getting ahead by taking pp.
