There was a guy around witchita, ks. that used take out fuel tanks for leg pits and set one on an angle for a dump pit and another for over head load out set on a cone, he bought used 18 inch gas pipeline pipe for his leg, all joints were welded. He had someone make round transisions on the boot and head. he used 12 inch gas pipe for down spouts. Had steel beam frame work only high enough to hold the over head load out. The leg needed no guy wires or other frame work to hold it. Has been through some bad kansas wind storms and never damaged. All the down spouts were braced off the leg and did not need spiders for support.
