Subject: RE: Grain Elevator Advice

SW Nebraska
I put up a leg last summer. It was a used leg that was originally 2500/hr and with the help of www.go4b.com it is rated at 4300/hr but is closer to 5000+ in actuality. They really know thier stuff. The set up was a ton of work and somewhat expensive(depends on how many extras you add for the future). It is so nice to roll in, open both traps, and roll out. It saved me at least one if not two trucks vrs augers. I used to have to shut the combine down and help move augers but now the drivers can switch bins in seconds, real handy if you run into wet corn in a field or a bin fills up mid day. I start the leg when I head to the combine in the morning and shut it off when I come home. It doesn't hurt it to run empty for 3 minutes or 3 hours, let it run. Wouldn't trade mine!
