Panhandle of Texas

I agree with Dave Cen.Ia.  I have the easiest time using my skid steer with the pallet forks on it, but not by much (I like the engine hoist method, too)

I don't have a corn head (don't grow corn), so I can't judge that method, but driving the feederhouse up to the combine is easy.  It's also fairly easy with an engine hoist.  Actually, I've done it most with the engine hoist because when I do it with the skid steer, I wind up hemming the skid steer up in behind the combine, and can't use it for anything else, until I get the feederhouse job done !!  Also, when using the engine hoist, I can see better when lining thing back up..

There is nothing to mark on the feederhouse when you remove it.  There will not be anything that can/could get out of time.
