Gentlemen,

I think it's time for rasp bars in the old girl.  I have never replaced them before.  How hard is it?  Does the feeder house need to come off?  Should I take it off anyway to inspect other areas and if so what it the best way to remove it?  I am very mechanically inclined, familiar with JD equipment, and know where to find the exploded diagrams for assistance.  Can anyone give me the step-by-step...sure would be nice to have some pointers.  Anything else specific I should be looking for while doing this?  I'm not real good at knowing where to draw the line between one more season and worn out.
