You can lay on top of the feeder house and work thru the inspection doors but it is a pain. I would suggest to remove the feeder house. If the rasp bars have lost tooth profile, ie sharp on the leading side and flat across the tops of the teeth then you are due for new bars. You can get new rasp bars with 2 bolts at each spyder or 1 larger bolt at each spyder. We have had no problems with the single bolt bars and they are easier to install. Check your concave carefully for wear, IMHO good concave and bars will put money in your pocket by doing a better job, less crack, cleaner grain tank sample.
