You may be surprised at what will work. Been a undersized breaker and light
wire, the unit may start. Personally I got by with a 40A on a 7.5HP(single
phase) for two years with a light wire. When I got the new panel and
heavy wire the fan would start once. Second start would knock out the
breaker. Didn’t last very long before the breaker wouldn’t start it once.
