Nobody is disputing that naturally acquired immunity exists or saying that it’s not contributing to the level of immunity that exists in certain communities.

However natural immunity has been shown to be much more variable than that conferred by vaccination with the current crop of COVID vaccines. Some get excellent antibody titers, some get excellent cellular immunity, some get both, some get neither.

Vaccination has been shown to provide consistent protection using the spike protein antigen.

Both natural immunity and vaccination derived immunity have been shown to decline over time but to diversify and broaden the range of virus a person will respond to over that same time. A booster dose some months after vaccination or after recovery from the virus usually will result in very high antibody levels as well as very broad ability to recognize different variants ...... without the danger of having to contract the virus again.
