I'm pretty sure hauling cows from Wyoming to Iowa, seasonally, is a huge issue. Although my experience is only moving cows around the county seasonally.
at least you got the hauling figured in for when the dugouts dry up or the BLM decides your lease would work better for sequestering carbon, the wife will be all over the western romance when she gets a tax deductible vacation in the old grain hauler truck pulling a borrowed pot a few times every year to drag the cows out of the sage brush to eat at the corn silage buffet for the other 8 months. Maybe the locals will bring their horses over to help roundup the cattle while the iowa farmer spins around on his 60 mph side by side playing cowboy. Do the 1,800 lb silage queens do well on sage brush and 5% humidity and high saline water?
