Nebraska, The land of corn and cattle | Holsteinfarmer - 6/7/2021 11:52 Clicker your so positive it just blows my mind. You no absolutely nothing about my cow herd and I’m not dumb enough to buy cows in Iowa and move them west. No different than running brome cattle form the North and bringing them into fescue country in the south. And no there isn’t and 1800 lb silage queens.
Hes just trying to be real, if you take them cows off silage in Iowa and haul them to Wyoming on sage pasture, they will starve, or damn near it. Maybe you know more than the average Iowa cowboy, but I bet Clicker has seen more than a couple eastern guys try to do something similar and its been a trainwreck. Things change ALOT as soon as you cross that Missouri river. |
