sc ia | I used to go antelope hunting in Natrona county about 20 miles southeast of that ranch. This would have been 30 years ago and we went there several different years. The rancher where we hunted said they averaged 7 inches of precipitation a year and most of that was snow. He had 33 sections and ran 400 pairs.
It was a very good antelope hunting area and as a bonus we found a hill that was loaded with rattlesnakes. We would spend a few hours shooting rattlesnakes with our pistols every year which was more fun than antelope hunting. We had the ranchers blessing with the snake shooting.
