KEE has recently been purchased by top con (they make GPS recievers and base stations). I would consider one for rate control, although i do not believe the autosteer solution can be compared to trimble or autofarm. Which brings you back to the $$$ section. would you spend all that money just to have a map with different colours on it. I'm sure the datalogger solution would be cheaper. When i purchased my flexicoil aircart there were none with flexirate available. It has had an aftermarket KEE variable rate system put on it (three electric motors that bolt under the gearboxes and a ****load of wires). Apparently retrofitting it with aftermarket variable rate is cheaper then actual flexirate. Although the salesman made a mess of the order so we're not sure how much it actually cost.
This year will be our second season with it and we've purchased a cable to get GPS signal our of our autofarm into the zynx so hopefully we can get some perscription mapping going.
I'm looking into the datalogger for another farmer.
The zynx perscription file formats can be zynx polygon xml, zynx bitmap xml, and the original KEE polygon.
