Leesburg, Ohio | In Ohio, that parcel could not be transferred until access was secured in some fashion. There are parcels in Ohio that have been landlocked for many years and accessed via a verbal agreement of some sort, but now if it changes ownership, the sale cannot be recorded until frontage on a road is added. That would mean buying a strip of land or buying an easement from a neighbor. Transfer is simply not allowed, even in our county which has essentially no zoning of any type except in towns. | |
