Nobody ever said it was the gospel. Most people are level headed enough to recognize it has flaws without going off the deep end with conspiracy theories.

Do we wish there was an exact science so we know exactly what every acre was gonna make on any given day? Its probably coming but I'm not sure you will like the effect it would have.
