West central IL | Things look bad for US Ag and not bad as in oh we are having a big yield year and it'll take a couple years to burn through the surplus. Things look bad as in we built up a large supply system and the entire demand base is shifting on multiple fronts. As farmers we won't be proactive to price projections, we'll be reactive, and it'll be a race to the bottom. Which is no big deal I suppose. Farmers will still get paid to farm. It's the landlords that will lose big over the next half decade. | |
