Compared to what measure? If measured against other currencies I kind of doubt it because everyone else is in as bad of shape as we are. Compared against certain goods or stocks or gold or some hard assets, I think it is highly likely. But it likely will not be even across all asset classes. Grains? Hard to say. Your guess is as good as mine. Fed is doing their best to destroy the purchasing power of the dollar. It just depends on how bad the deflationary pressures are that they have to offset. I suspect eventually they will get the job done. But how soon is hard to say. I have been looking for it to happen for a long time and it has not (although is reflected in land and stock price inflation) so I may continue to be wrong for a long time more. But history is not kind to fiat currencies once the powers that be quit worrying about deficit spending and printing the money needed to support it. John
