Has to be more factors as to why some countries are having a higher death rate, probably a combination of too many things to count... Overall health, pollution, age, % people in poor health... Combined with a virus that may have mutated several times already and could be localized flares of a more dangerous strain in one spot but a less deadly one in another.

I was half joking about USA and Canada but Italy is true. Old population, fat, smokers, 61 million people jammed in like sardines plus they hug and kiss each other when they greet.
