Subject: RE: A question for hydraulic experts.

They are the handiest of machines and I don’t want to go without it. I was using it today to work from to remove the pump stack and main gearbox from a combine until it started swinging in only one direction.

I learned the hard way years ago with a bale wrapper that developed poltergeists that turned out to be nothing but a low battery after many hours and a row of 1/2 wrapped bales. Because of memories of that experience I did put the battery charger on it for the night. The battery did test about 12.8 volts when the machine wasn’t running though. In a perfect world it will be working normally again tomorrow but I’d best prepare for the worst.
