| The weather Channel always say when it roars go indoors.
They also say that if you are out in the field the best thing to do is kneel on your knees and bend your head down between your knees and to never lay flat.
I seen a lightening strike hit a hydro pole with the sun shining and the storm was miles away.
We always thought you were safe on an open tractor or wagon and have heard of people being struck and killed on a hay wagon piling hay. It said that the speed the lightening is traveling , the rubber tires is not going to stop the lightening and or be a ground.
Unless you have a cab on the tractor you better get to your house or vehicle. | |
