They are not horrible sales if they work for them in their business management and cash flow needs. To call them horrible sales is to market as a speculator. What you consider a horrible sale could be a game changer for the better for the person who made it.
Would you consider a sale at 5 a horrible sale if it went to 5.25. A horrible sale at 7 if price went to 7.75?
Yes I would consider a sale at $7 a bad sale when corn went to $7.75 and I did not have the corn to cover it. Any time you have to wright the elevator a check it is a bad sale.
Farmers are writing the elevators checks, they are not posting it on Ag talk.
This is how people go broke selling $7 corn. Going broke is not a good thing. |
