EC Kansas | We bought a farm on contact several years ago. The owner and I talked about what we wanted in the contract. I made notes and my wife put them in a good format and we hired a local attorney. He had some ideas that we hadn't thought of. We set up an escrow account with the local bank for me to make payments to. That turned out to be very important. The people we bought the farm from had bad health and we lost track of where they were so at least we had a place to make payments. | |
