Dayton, OH | That's really heartrending, and it's no wonder, farmers are small business owners, fathers and mothers, accountants, bosses, managers, sales professionals, marketers and even employees all at once. Talk about pressure! Add on that you bear the brunt of most of the liability when there's a loss or the markets are tough and it all adds up to a huge amount of mental strain. I can remember some tough years growing up for my dad, and this is a good reminder for me to stay close with family and make sure they've got the support they need, you never know when someone is hurting and just needs to know they're loved and cared for. I've got nothing but respect for all of you! | |
