My wife's grandmother kept a daily ledger starting in the late 40's and ended in the late 80's. You wanna talk about some good reading. Very very cool stuff. Anyway, there was one entry that talks about a local farmer that committed suicide. It was even happening back then. I wonder if it was just overlooked and we are just now noticing it? Obviously people are wired different. Some people take stress better than others.

This is way off base but I've often wondered about the same for our military men and woman. When men came back from WW2 (the greatest generation) they didn't talk about there experiences and they went to work. Now you hear about PTSD all the time with our military. I TOTALLY RESPECT our military. Let me make that clear. I just wonder if during the "old days" did they have PTSD or what. What has changed?
