Nc Ks.
Cleaned all the battery connections a few days ago. Made no difference. Took the ground cable off at the engine by the oil filter housing and cleaned the cable end and around the stud bolt. Still made no difference. Engine running around half throttle, still had the 13.2 at the alternator and 12.8 at the positive post on the drivers side battery. Got to thinking a few years ago it wasn't charging on a Sat. morning and I was needing to use it. Took it in to JD dealership and the mechanic checked it and some piece in there wasn't working. He had a used one in his toolbox and put it on, charged me half price of a new one and it got me to going. Forgot about that. Don't remember what he put in there, wasn't brushes or something, was some component. Maybe I need to take it off and take it in and see what it's putting out on a test stand.
