North Central Kansas | I have the nh3 unit, and I have a dry spreader.
I can get semi loads delivered to my farm of dry so can go either way.
The nice thing with nh3, I can apply in the fall and its done. Our springs can get wet, then you get behind and don't know what to do first.
No tilling is new to me. I have 250 acres that I put a mix in (via wildlife and parks) behind wheat last year. One field going to corn, other to milo. I have 3 more fields getting this same thing this summer. They are paying for the seed, paying to have it drilled. I thought this is a great way to learn about it and get started in it.
I like what I am planting into. And will keep going this way. Just like words of wisdom from those that been here a while and learned what works best.
thanks
