I have a friend who does a good bit of rebuilding Keho fans... I don't own any so my knowledge of them is only in passing conversation with him. From what I understand, the plastic fans are a bugger. Sometimes they must be destroyed to get them apart. I think there is a metal replacement.
If you like, I could put you in contact with him.... he knows those Keho fans very well.
