Ya you just gotta go all in when buying ground. You can't just dabble in it as that can even get you in trouble if your not watching what your doing.

You need to be focused on making things work for the long term as well as the short term to make the payment and improve the land so it does better in the future. The land will never pencil on paper to pay for it's self unless the market goes up and it increases in value.

Your gonna have to have other income to help pay for the land. Once it's paid off it'll pay for the next piece.

I worked nights at a group home as support staff when we were first married and did computer tech stuff on the side while farming to help pay down my land loan quicker. Get paid and go to the bank out the paycheck on the loan. It sucked at the time but a lot easier then it is now with a house and two kids at home.
