farmfresh7800 - 2/21/2015 17:49 I am planning to buying farm ground some time in the next few years if the right piece comes up for sale. What are some things you learned the hard way or something you wish you would have know before you made a purchase. Currently rent ground and help my father farm as well as work off the farm. Thanks for your advice on things to know or question to ask. Generally speaking, land only comes up for sale once in your life time . . . .. neighboring land, if it comes up for sale, you only get one chance to buy it. It'll always be too expensive . . . it'll never cash flow and other sources of income will be necessary to get it ~ Be in a position to buy it. |
