That is a cheesy looking air filter and for what these systems cost I would think they could do better. I also thought it would be nicer to leave the filter outside and get a better filter but have not done anything about it yet. Darrin already has the filter mounted in the cab though. He bought some tubing for the bigger compressor because there was not enough to go inside the 755 cab and for the cost of that tubing I think we could have bought a pretty nice filter. The DOT air hose from NAPA was nearly a buck and a half per foot. I would sure check a different source if I needed much of it. What he bought was $45. Didn't look like much of a coil of tiny plastic tube for $45.
