| Very sad for them. I don't care what breed it was, when we own animals we are responsible for them. That means accepting that something bad may happen to them if they are off our our property. Even this. I wouldn't have messed with the police. I would have called my husband honestly, the problem would have been taken care of just as well. When it comes to my kids safety, I don't mess around to wait for the attack or to see if the dog is friendly. Sorry, it's not worth it to me.
Yes this applies to my dogs as well. I will not be setting up a petition if someone shoots my dogs. I will accept it and try to be a better owner in the future!
