WY, OK | Surprised to see people actually realize it isn't needed. It is just like SS as in it goes back to good old FDR and the gvt. sticking its nose where it doesn't belong. Best thing that happened to us beef guys is we didn't get near the "help" back then like Dairy and Farming did, all it does is holsters you down. Look at how many people magically switched to Dairy in the '40's because the gvt. wanted them too, now they are overstocked and complain constantly. Same goes for the thousands of acres of great pastureland that went into wheat in the west in the '30's and '40s and only half the land gets used a year. | |
