northern IL | I know for a fact (I have someone on the inside) that some of the sale barns are buying big numbers of cattle and putting all- naturel on them or giving them shoots and calling them preconditioned and that night they are off to the next guy. These cattle are all bought in groups of less than 5 with very little history if any. A lot of these cattle end up as a train wreck. I have pulled my hair out trying to figure out what is wrong with some of these cattle. If we had traceability it would help stop some of this BS. So flame away. | |

We need mandatory livestock traceabillity
