We call it branding on this side of the river and it’s as foolproof as you’ll ever get. If all the calves have the same mark on their side, they all came from the same producer. Can’t simplify it anymore for you then that. If a barn brands a bunch overnight, it’ll be pretty obvious the next day, week, even a month down the road. Let’s keep the government out of our business as much as possible, they already get their hands on enough of our dollars and practices thanks. | |
