Subject: To buy hay mower/baler or not? advice needed

Western Illinois
I am in western Illinois and run around 30-35 cows and have a guy custom mow and bale approx. 80-90 bales of grass hay a year. every other year or so we will have him cut and wrap 80 bales of rye baleage a year as well and then buy 10-15 corn stalk bales a year as well. I was told that he is having surgery this month and will be out of the custom hay business and its getting tough to find a custom baler. We have our own tedder and rake already but am trying to figure out what to do. He has been around $15 an acre to cut the hay and I want to say $18 a bale to make a 5x6 net wrap bale so we have around $1000 a year in cutting and $1600 in baling on 90 bales. I'm 35 and plan to try to expand the pasture/hay ground but its tough to find. I realize I cant justify a new line of machinery with current prices but trying to figure out what to do. Thanks for your advice.
