| Is there a formula? Want to be fair to all involved parties but don’t want to go broke trying to farm family ground. I know some will say if I don’t want to pay it someone else will. We all know how volatile grain and input prices are. I don’t want special treatment as a family member but I have a lot of sweat equity in this dirt also. Unfortunately I didn’t inherit it either.
I haven’t got specific APHs from my crop insurance but average corn 140-150 and beans 45-55. Was thinking $1 per bushel of corn or bean yield times 3. Does that sound reasonable? | |
