In this case, fair has nothing to do with it. They are looking for the highest bidder. Everyone has to push their own pencil. Best of luck.
(edit: reading the responses on here, I think I should point out to me it seems the OP isn't the owner of the ground, he's the renter and the new landlords are the kids of the previous owners)
