When you figure out and accept that this situation is miles and miles deeper than a leased car and too many miles, you'll be able to get somewhere. If she refuses counseling, you'd be well served to go alone and get some insight into what is truly going on and how to best deal with it for the outcome that is best for you and your family. I wish you the best. It's not an easy row to hoe.

This problem has been brewing for years. Its going to take a lot of time and effort (by both) to get things back on track.
I'd also recommend to the OP that he delete everything he has posted in this thread immediately and ask the moderators to delete the entire thread. There is NOTHING good that can come from posting this kind of stuff about your spouse on the internet for the entire world to read even if you thing you are anonymous, somebody knows who you are.
There is no reason to air you grievances with your spouse in front of the entire world. Do that in a private roomwith a marriage counselor.
