We live similar distances from town. Seldom have less than 20000 miles a year on wife's vehicle. My pickup might be less or the same.
Kids are all grown up but we have grandkids 4-6 hours in opposite directions from home now.
BTW, the lease wasn't too smart of a deal, especially if that was her only vehicle.
You better pull up your big boy pants and apologize.
