With that being said, and the info you have shared, unfortunately, this $108/mo is an excuse for deeper problems the two of you have. A good counselor would be a wise investment at this point. It would serve to smooth the road out so to say going forward.
Believe it or not, a good divorce attorney is a good source to recommend a good counselor. And if that doesn't work out, you have sourced the good one in your area before she did.
