montana hiline | I would suggest buying the car and running it for years. Maybe when it gets 260000 miles on it think about an upgrade.
I see so many families that pay somebody else to raise there kids so the wife can have a job to make enough to cover the
car payments.
There is a lot of truth to "happy wife happy life"
Any job is going to add some stress to the family if she works a couple days a week there shouldn't be much conflict.
