| Seems like the big guys are pushing hard to expand and new packers are coming on line. It can't all be due the great bacon shortage can it? I'm going out on a limb thinking that these guys have some export deals (or some sort of deal) that they are trying to cover. Otherwise I would guess as fewer folks want to do the labor and management, other businesses with more fire in their bellies would slowly/steadily take over. It's not like whoever has the most pigs wins - if you are losing money on each one, it's hard to make it up with volume. | |
