VA | I've felt that way too but I need some sort of cash flow to pay for this land next year talking 5k. Yes I can pay for it with off farm bit prefer not to.
I normally hold calves to 700 to 800 lbs anyways and currently have the grass for it. I could use the grass to top off my calves and make trailer loads that's not a bad idea.
I've got concerns buying stockyard cattle and running through my working pens. I'm scared of passing diseases to my brood and registered cows that's why I was thinking of buying heifers off the farm that way I know they are vaccinated and weaned | |
