sell them as confirmed bred in late fall or winter for around 1400 to 1500.
I don't think that's realistic. Short breds wouldn't bring that now, let alone when prices drop another 15-20% this fall.
Even if that did all pencil out and you could make $100 a head, is it really worth all that to make a couple thousand bucks?
I would rather just know I had a nice hay cushion in case things get hairy on weather. |
