Subject: RE: Toenail removal = Long night

North Central Kansas
I had mine removed twice. Once in high school and once at college. The second time at college I went to the student health center to have it done. Let's just say the doctor probably was way past his prime. He did the first two shots that were to block the toe off but missed the nerve. When he shoved the needle under the nail I felt it. I told him that it was not dead but he took it off. That hurt like a son of a gun. The next time they cut the sides and put gauze under the nail. No problems since.
