Reading these replies, I'm so confused...
What does it mean to be in-grown?
How do you 'rip it out'?
Does the toenail grow back again?

Ingrown nails tend to grow into the side of the toe . Generally the side of the nail is removed and depending on the circumstances the nail bed may or not be killed to prevent regrowth. In my situation this had beer tried without success so a more aggressive procedure was done.
