EC North Dakota | Beautiful field!
We had a temp preacher for awhile who drove me crazy.
All he did was tell us how great he was. How he was able to send his kids to Princeton and Harvard. How he's able to buy a new Lincoln whenever. I quit putting up with him when he told our quilting ladies that 200 quilts was nothing compared to what they should be giving. That our community is incredibly wealthy and we should be giving much more to the synod.
Too many only want to hear themselves.
Our new one is on a big kick about how lutherans and Catholics need to love each other. I have no clue where he's coming from. Our Catholic Church in town closed and many of the Catholics just come to our church now. We are thrilled to have them and get along with them better than we do ourselves. | |
