With our Lutheran Church, the sermons are prepared by Synod, available on the internet, download and read em. Music too. Every week its all new music. I miss the old standards.
The good news is 18 to 20 minutes is all we get for a sermon, service has lots of liturgy so its an hour or a touch over.

So every Pastor in the area preaches/reads the same sermon??? Doesn't leave much room for the Holy Spirit to move through these men does it? Seems way out of whack to me.

Im saying the experienced ones probably use the "theme" and preach from the heart. We have a 66 yr old Pastor, does a pretty good job on the sermon.
