Subject: RE: preachers who like to hear themselves

Mccune KS
A good preacher knows his congregation.
He understands the struggles that life brings.
Then he goes to his good book and translates.

Sometimes it's just about learning the good book
but a preacher worth his salt will bring a congregation
together for the benifits of all.

I like real life stories that corralte
with the bible.
Last one was about his daughters kittens
and how he didn't have time or cared but
through scripture he explained his faults.
He did it in a way that taught as well as entertained.

We all left with a smile on our face.
We can all relate.
Should I run over them or take the time or
let them learn. Then add in a little girl then
some grown up stories of a elderly father and son.
then add in scripture.
Bingo
He be a talking to someone.
But a example to all.

That's a good preacher

Edit: wanted to say
Being a good preacher is not easy.
They take on the problems and I have seen
more than one struggle.
I have high regards to the ones that step
down because of the stress.
It can be over whelming with everyone's
opinion and ways.

I have learned over the yrs just about every
good preacher has ways of venting in some way.
Ones who fail seem to get over whelmed.
Kinda like being the biggest guy in the room.
Everyone wants to test.
Don't know why.
Just way it is.
