Blackstock, Ont | How long have you been married? any children? financial problems? alcohol or drugs involved? any warning prior to her filing papers? still living together? tried counselling? Any third parties involved? Dave, give us some more information so that we can give you helpful input.
If no third party is involved, generally a woman has a line that cannot be crossed. Once that line is crossed it is very difficult to recover from it. Any idea what her "line" is? Mine are fairly simple, physically assault me or have an affair and it would be over, For the under 35 set, it could be something as silly as not getting the vacation they wanted. Know one couple (non farmers) who have 2 young children and a business but the Dad spends non working time at home. The mum wants to party on her off time so is divorcing him. That unfortunately is her line.
Good luck and reach out again
