We sold quite a bit of corn over $4 earlier this summer but at the time we hadn't had a rain in a month and didn't know if we would raise 50 or 200 bpa corn. so did I and beans also. Lots of beans. I think we both have seen several bad years in a row that taught is serious lessons on being oversold also. So frankly it doesn't seem that hard to understand the hesitation of selling to a certain bench mark ever year. I believe he has learned that lesson also. |
